HMAS Hobart Open Day

Enjoyed visiting HMAS Hobart today. Fortunately I arrived early as the queue was snaking a long way by the time I left the ship. She is certainly very high tech and everything looked so new (which of course it is!). I really appreciated the very friendly and informative crew members.

First visit to her name port. Something not obvious from photos is just how much larger she is when compared with the FFGs which she and her two sisters (Brisbane and Sydney) are replacing.
