Open Day at Kangaroo Battery, Bellerive

An open day was held on Sunday, 10 February, at the historic Kangaroo Bluff Fort at Bellerive.


Volunteers of Militaria Collectors Tasmania (Dad's Army!) guard the fort and prepare to fire the 6 pdr gun.

An 8" Armstrong gun. It once landed a shell on Longbeach, Sandy Bay, during a practice shoot!
